Golden Spoon Awards Cookbook documents the journey of the professional culinary competition of the same name, launched in 2013 by Ly Ngoc Minh, founder of Minh Long I, and Ly Huy Sang. The competition celebrates Vietnamese chefs, explores distinctive dishes, and preserves traditional culinary values from different regions across Vietnam.
The book brings together recipes, cooking techniques, food photography, and culinary stories from professional chefs and culinary artisans. It presents the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine, from traditional dishes to contemporary interpretations, along with regional ingredients and spices. Food photography is combined with editorial content to create a visual publication that introduces Vietnamese culinary culture and cuisine to readers in Vietnam and abroad.
The project involved collaboration between the editorial and photography teams, with me as the sole designer responsible for the design and layout of the entire book.
